For clients who print their own labels (or need to reprint labels), the EZBookPrep extension integrates directly with DYMO LabelWriter printers. This allows you to print FBA Shipping labels and individual Book Tracking labels directly from your dashboard.

DYMO Printer: Supported models include LabelWriter 450, 450 Turbo, and 4XL.
DYMO Connect Software: You must have the DYMO Connect software installed and running on your computer.
Open the EZBookPrep Extension Settings (Click icon > Gear Icon).
Scroll to the Label Printing section.
Click Select Printer.
Choose your specific DYMO model from the list.
Status Dot: Green = Ready, Red = Offline/Not Found.
FBA Shipping Labels: Use 4" x 6" labels (DYMO 4XL required).
Book Tracking Labels: Use 1" x 2.125" standard address labels.
This is the most common error. The extension talks to your printer via a background service installed with DYMO software.
Check the App: Ensure "DYMO Connect" is actually running on your computer (check your system tray near the clock).
Restart Service: Close DYMO Connect and re-open it.
USB Connection: Unplug the USB cable, wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in.
Calibration: Open DYMO Connect, go to Preferences > Calibrate.
Loading: Ensure labels are loaded face-down (or as required by your specific model).
Cleaning: Use a DYMO cleaning card or isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the print head.
Refresh the connection by clicking "Refresh Printers" in the extension settings.
Ensure the printer is powered on and the USB cable is secure.
Proper labeling is crucial! If you are applying labels yourself ensure they are scannable
You should cover the itemโs ISBN barcode with the Amazon FBA (with FNSKU) label).
